About the role
Responsibilities
- Offer frontline HR support and guidance to employees
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in HR systems
- Perform routine data audits to ensure record reliability
- Support hourly recruitment, interviewing, and pre-employment testing
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and e-paperwork completion
- Compile and prepare payroll-related data
- Administer leave of absence processes
- Assist with employee relations, investigations, and terminations
- Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback
- Assist with company-wide events and community engagement
- Partner with managers to ensure timekeeping and attendance accuracy
- Maintain HR communication boards and information sections
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR coordinator or similar role
- Experience in hourly recruiting
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of state and federal employment law
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
