Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support plant operations by managing absenteeism, reviewing tardy reports, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Perform internal customer service by addressing employee questions regarding benefits, enrollment, and changes.
• Coordinate recruitment and hiring for plant temporary staffing and manage the conversion process to core employees.
• Conduct recruitment efforts, including screening applicants and coordinating group interviews with manufacturing leadership.
• Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
• Partner with supervisors to facilitate coaching sessions, disciplinary actions, and employee relations counseling.
• Handle exit interviewing and outplacement counseling.
• Process unemployment notices and attend hearings when necessary.
• Maintain human resource information system (HRIS) records and compile database reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional Human Resources experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of employee issues and support a diverse workforce.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
