Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage daily employee interactions regarding personnel, benefits, and job-related issues during the second shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-12am).
• Record employee absence notifications and vacation requests in the Call-In Database.
• Perform accurate data entry for absenteeism, vacations, transfer requests, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist employees with completing company, federal, and state forms (e.g., W-4, address changes).
• Maintain hardcopy personnel records and issue line passes following absences.
• Support payroll processes by verifying and distributing payroll checks and maintaining check registers.
• Assist with FMLA documentation tracking and processing.
• Generate personnel reports for supervisors and assist with position investigations for promotions.
• Perform switchboard operator duties for the South Complex during the second shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel).
• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
