About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on HR support and expert guidance to leaders and employees on performance management, policy, and compliance.
- Manage a high-volume employee relations caseload from intake to resolution, ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Conduct impartial investigations, including planning, interviewing, fact-gathering, and reporting findings.
- Coach leaders through complex employee relations cases, progressive discipline, and performance improvement.
- Support the rollout and adoption of Workday HRIS, including training and data maintenance.
- Assist with organizational change management and ensure HR practices meet provincial legislative requirements.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment for all employees.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of progressive HR experience with strong knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
- 2–4 years of direct experience in employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and complex people matters with discretion and sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written, verbal, and reporting skills.
- Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
- French language skills are preferred but not required.
