Human Resources Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and federal/state employment laws to reduce legal risks.
• Oversee payroll and HR transactions, including auditing timekeeping practices and tracking leave.
• Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including pre-employment screenings and E-Verify.
• Handle complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough, objective investigations.
• Create and execute employee-centered initiatives to drive individual and team performance.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper employee files and manage employee supplies like uniforms and name tags.
• Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop strategic solutions and participate in policy development.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of experience in human resources.
• Working knowledge of talent management, compliance, employee relations, and employment laws.
• Ability to manage payroll transactions and timekeeping audits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
• Previous experience in the senior living, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
