Human Resources Business Partner II

Responsibilities

• Serve as a coach and strategic partner to management and associates in both manufacturing and corporate environments
• Drive HR strategies and initiatives including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and employee engagement
• Manage relationships with assigned business units to tackle workforce challenges such as retention and associate development
• Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance and policy concerns
• Participate in the Associate Relations team to handle formal corrective actions or investigations
• Maintain a frequent presence on the production floor to understand business details and gather associate feedback
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risk through in-depth knowledge of employment law

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or in a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
• In-depth knowledge of HR employment law
• Ability to work a Pitman Schedule (12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 pattern)
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM equivalent
