About the role
Responsibilities
- Build solid relationships with functional leaders and serve as the main HR contact for the Goodyear distribution center
- Provide guidance on employment issues including policy interpretation, coaching, corrective action, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support workforce staffing plans and minimize turnover
- Support the implementation of benefits and compensation policies and programs
- Lead programs to increase employee engagement, retention, and job satisfaction
- Support the performance management process and provide training to leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role
- Experience in a high-growth distribution center or field environment preferred
- Proven track record in change management and operational transformation
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Ability to use data to improve efficiency in production-focused environments
