About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support recruiting efforts by posting positions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Assist with employee onboarding to ensure new hires are set up for success
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation, including offer letters and personnel files
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollment and annual open enrollment processes
  • Coordinate facility services, monitor vendor needs, and maintain a list of maintenance and repair vendors
  • Manage office logistics, including answering phones, handling mail, and keeping shared spaces organized and well-stocked
  • Assist in planning and executing special events such as staff meetings, employee engagement events, and board meetings

Requirements

  • At least three years of combined experience in human resources or office operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and SharePoint)
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
  • Comfort managing vendor relations via phone and email
