Human Resource Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations cases from initial assessment through resolution
• Provide advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters and HR best practices
• Support performance management processes and advise managers on performance improvement actions
• Investigate workplace issues and recommend appropriate resolutions
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly
• Maintain accurate case documentation and confidential employee records
• Advise managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability matters
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives and process improvements
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to promote effective people management
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies
• Monitor case progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on employee relations
• Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations casework
• Strong knowledge of performance management processes and HR best practices
• Experience providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers
• Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and employee relations principles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• BPSS Clearance required
