Human Resource Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide full-range HR support including compensation, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration
• Review and interpret HR policies, making recommendations to senior management to ensure legal compliance and business alignment
• Facilitate the resolution of confidential and sensitive employee relations issues and oversee disciplinary actions
• Manage the recruitment and selection process to meet staffing needs
• Deliver training programs through presentation, facilitation, and coaching
• Maintain personnel records, process personnel actions, and prepare complex statistical reports
• Manage financial accounts, payroll, and expense reports, including auditing general ledger entries for contract activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of job-related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and word-processing applications
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to interpret and implement local policies and work under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• PHR or SPHR Certification
• Experience working in a unionized environment
