Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding workplace concerns, HR policies, and procedures
- Support supervisors with performance conversations, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Assist employees with benefits, 401(k) inquiries, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and confidential personnel files
- Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement initiatives
- Coordinate offboarding processes, including exit interviews and equipment collection
- Create and present HR-related training for managers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Partner with safety leadership to support OSHA compliance and incident documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience in the construction or field-service industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA)
- Experience with employee relations, recruiting, and HR administration
- Ability to work across multiple locations with occasional jobsite visits
