Human Resource Business Partner, I

Responsibilities

• Serve as an HR liaison for designated Centers of Excellence (COEs), coordinating multi-state HR activities and escalating jurisdiction-specific issues.
• Formalize and standardize onboarding processes across multiple states, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Manage employee accommodations and coordinate termination processes, including the distribution of state-specific and federal documentation.
• Maintain accurate HR records, track Long-Term Disability (LTD) cases, and prepare multi-state HR reports.
• Facilitate New Hire Orientation and conduct exit interviews to identify retention trends.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for expense reports and provide guidance on policy interpretation.
• Respond to employee and leader inquiries promptly while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of multi-state HR compliance, including onboarding, benefits, leave, and termination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across different time zones.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR administration or operations.
• Demonstrated experience supporting HR processes in a multi-state environment.
• Previous experience working with HRIS platforms.
