About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps to maximize team performance
- Act as a culture champion to enhance employee engagement
- Serve as a confidential resource for employee relations and conduct investigations
- Lead change management initiatives and communication plans
- Implement and maintain scalable HR programs and processes
- Partner cross-functionally with site leadership and the internal People team
- Manage employment law compliance and leave administration
- Support project management and administrative routines including orientation and data maintenance
- Ensure safety and compliance with GMP, biosecurity, and sanitation requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or Organizational Development
- Seven years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner
- Experience supporting production, distribution, or high-growth environments
- Experience managing large populations of hourly employees
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment law
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain state badging
Preferred Qualifications
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP Certification
- Experience leading in union environments
- Experience with market-leading companies with COE structures
