About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps to maximize team performance
- Serve as a confidential resource for employee relations and conduct investigations
- Lead change management initiatives and communication plans
- Implement and maintain scalable HR programs and processes
- Partner with site leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives
- Manage administrative routines including new hire orientation and data maintenance
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and leave policies
- Support safety and compliance requirements within the production facility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or Organizational Development
- 7+ years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner
- Experience supporting production, distribution, or high-growth environments
- Experience managing large populations of hourly employees
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment law
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid state ID and driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain state cannabis industry badging
Preferred Qualifications
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP Certification
- Experience leading in union environments
- Experience with market-leading companies with COE structures
