About the role

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) to process personnel actions, position descriptions, and position management.
  • Oversee the posting, interviewing, and selection processes for agency vacancies.
  • Coordinate recruitment and retention efforts using Taleo and other innovative tools to fill vacancies.
  • Conduct job analysis for PSMQ validation and content-valid assessment/selection instruments.
  • Write, update, and maintain agency position descriptions.
  • Act as a liaison between the HCM Administrator and internal/external customers regarding HCM matters.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to support agency staffing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, OR an undergraduate degree in a core program (HR, Business, or Public Administration) plus 12 months of HR experience.
  • Proven experience with position management and recruitment processes.
  • Experience conducting job analysis.
  • Proficiency with HR information systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
