About the role
Responsibilities
- Utilize the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) to process personnel actions, position descriptions, and position management.
- Oversee the posting, interviewing, and selection processes for agency vacancies.
- Coordinate recruitment and retention efforts using Taleo and other innovative tools to fill vacancies.
- Conduct job analysis for PSMQ validation and content-valid assessment/selection instruments.
- Write, update, and maintain agency position descriptions.
- Act as a liaison between the HCM Administrator and internal/external customers regarding HCM matters.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to support agency staffing initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, OR an undergraduate degree in a core program (HR, Business, or Public Administration) plus 12 months of HR experience.
- Proven experience with position management and recruitment processes.
- Experience conducting job analysis.
- Proficiency with HR information systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
