HUB Cargo Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete tasks within the Cargo warehouse operation on a shift basis, focusing on planning and oversight of key activities and routes.
• Monitor inbound quality, including physical builds and validation of weight and volume to optimize connections and revenue.
• Implement best practices with service providers to reduce operational discrepancies and improve capacity utilization.
• Monitor red routes and space optimization using cargo spot, reviewing connections and managing potential misconnections.
• Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Health, Security, and Safety standards.
• Maintain close working relationships with service providers to ensure sufficient resources for On-Time Departure Performance.
• Support the Cargo Operations Center Duty Manager in delivering departmental and corporate goals.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and advice to Ground Handling Agent (GHA) staff.

Requirements

• High school level education with specialization in cargo handling operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in cargo operations.
• Successful completion of cargo and dangerous goods courses.
• Completion of training in live animals, aircraft weight and balance, and general cargo procedures.
• Full proficiency in cargo handling processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
