HSSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSSE programs, standards and policies
• Conduct or participate in detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses
• Support or lead investigations into HSSE incidents and near-misses
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor compliance with HSSE regulations in site construction and operational activities
• Develop HSSE documentation including safety plans and regulatory reports
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSSE practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5 - 10 years of experience in an HSSE engineering role
• Experience within the oil and gas industry or a similarly regulated sector
