HSE/Auxiliary Trainer

Responsibilities

• Deliver HSE critical risk training and assess learning to site standards
• Provide on-the-job instruction for light auxiliary equipment
• Conduct field-based training (approximately 80% of the role)
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation (approximately 20% of the role)
• Train personnel in areas including Fall Protection, Confined Space, Overhead Crane & Rigging, Isolation, Fire Extinguisher use, Hot Works Fire Watch, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Skidsteer, Forklift, and Loader operation

Requirements

• Extensive industrial or mining experience, preferably in mineral processing or a similar frontline role
• Hands-on, practical experience applying HSE principles in an operational setting
• Proven knowledge and application of fall protection and confined space protocols
• Experience with overhead crane and rigging operations
• Proficiency in operating Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP), skidsteers, and forklifts
• Ability to work a 14/14 day rotation at the Gahcho Kué Mine site
