HSE Trainer

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver HSE training programs using various methodologies, including classroom sessions, workshops, on-the-job training, and toolbox talks.
• Develop and adapt training materials to address project-specific risks, BECCS activities, and construction/commissioning phases.
• Deliver mandatory HSE inductions, refresher training, and role-based training for employees and subcontractors.
• Assess training effectiveness and trainee competence through evaluations and continuous improvement actions.
• Support the implementation of safety culture initiatives, campaigns, and HSE leadership tools.
• Facilitate HSE workshops for management, supervisors, and frontline personnel.
• Ensure consistent communication of Life-Saving Rules, safe work practices, and Permit to Work requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and documentation in compliance with Project and Company standards.
• Interface with Project HSE Management and Construction teams to identify emerging risk areas and training needs.
• Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and compliance with training requirements.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as an HSE trainer or in a similar role within a construction or commissioning site environment.
• Nebosh certificate.
• Knowledge of ISO 14000 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Expertise in HSE procedures.
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English.
