HSE Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Oversee HSE compliance across aerospace manufacturing and hazardous operations, including chemical storage and permit-to-work systems
• Manage HSE plans covering emergency response, environmental impact, waste, and transport safety
• Conduct hazard identification (HAZID), risk assessments (HIRA), and incident investigations using root cause analysis (RCA)
• Plan and conduct internal and external HSE audits and inspections
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to ensure full compliance with ADOSH and UAE requirements
• Deliver HSE training programs and mentor HSE team members to drive a proactive safety culture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in aerospace, defence, or manufacturing sectors
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent)
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
• ADOSH Practitioner Certification (Grade A or above)
• Strong knowledge of ADOSH and UAE HSE regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
• Direct experience working within aerospace or defence environments
