HSE Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards
• Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, leading root-cause analyses and implementing preventative measures
• Provide training and mentorship to field staff and subcontractors on safe work practices and emergency procedures
• Develop Deliberate Risk Assessments (DRA), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Total Safety Task Instructions (TSTI)
• Partner with field supervisors and project managers to monitor and enforce safety standards on-site
• Prepare safety reports, maintain documentation, and track safety performance metrics
• Establish and facilitate monthly recurring safety committees and execute safety incentive programs

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport
• Valid State Driver’s License
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in field safety management, construction, or industrial operations
• Strong knowledge of federal and state safety regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as required
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 lbs, and work in non-climate-controlled environments

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience successfully managing a comparable safety program
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree level education
• CHST, OHST, OSHA 510 & 500, or equivalent safety certification
• Supervisory experience including coaching, multitasking, and employee performance management
