HSE Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform routine on-site inspections in accessible areas, including observations, reporting, and follow-up
• Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and control methods for High-Risk Activities (HRA)
• Interact with project stakeholders, including general contractors and subcontractors, to verify EHS implementation
• Review and maintain EHS documentation, including training records and site EHS plans
• Monitor and report EHS performance, including KPIs and corrective/preventive actions
• Support incident and near-miss investigations and documentation
• Participate in emergency preparedness planning and readiness verification
• Complete scheduled EHS tasks using specialized EHS tools
• Conduct training and integration sessions as requested
• Monitor implementation of project-specific EHS and Environmental Management Plans

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering with specialization in Occupational Safety
• Relevant experience in occupational health, safety, and environment within infrastructure, energy, or project operations
• Advanced or fluent English (reading, speaking, and writing)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform gap assessments and identify safety deficiencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Internal or Lead Auditor courses in ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
