HSE Specialist

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate HSE policies into actionable operational plans for distribution centers and delivery hubs
• Lead comprehensive risk assessments (DUERP), conduct internal audits, and perform deep-dive incident investigations
• Ensure all sites adhere to French labor (Code du Travail) and environmental regulations
• Maintain high visibility on the shopfloor through workplace inspections and coaching operational leads on hazard identification
• Utilize process management methodologies to optimize safety workflows and elevate safety maturity
• Guide teams through organizational shifts to ensure HSE standards remain a priority during growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 3–5 years of HSE experience, ideally within a distribution center, warehouse, or high-volume logistics environment
• In-depth knowledge of French HSE legislation (Code du Travail), including CACES, ERP/ERT, and ICPE regulations
• Proven affinity for road safety and fleet management
• Fluency in both French and English
• Valid Driver's license and availability for travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in HSE
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 45001, 14001)
