HSE Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental issues, including waste management (RENTRI/xFIR), atmospheric emissions, and water protection.
• Identify and assess health and safety risks within the workplace.
• Define preventive and protective measures and implement control systems.
• Support the Occupational Physician (Medico Competente) with site-specific health protocols.
• Control, verify, and update all regulatory documentation related to equipment and company assets.
• Assist the HSE Manager with periodic performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with global guidelines and Integrated Management System (IMS) policies.
• Inform workers regarding identified risk factors and necessary preventive measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or HSE Management.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in HSE roles, preferably in an industrial context.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Excellent analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across different functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multinational corporate environments.
• Proficiency in Spanish, German, or French.
• Hands-on experience with RENTRI and xFIR software.
• Knowledge of HSE management systems and international certifications.
