HSE Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical HSE support for daily site activities and future projects across West India sites (Gujarat and Maharashtra).
• Implement the Annual HSE Plan and ensure compliance with local legislation, company standards, and client agreements.
• Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and monitor waste and wastewater sampling/reporting.
• Drive a safety ownership culture and engage employees in managing HSE matters.
• Participate in job safety analysis (JSA), process hazard analysis (PHA), management of change (MOC), and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR).
• Ensure contractor compliance with company policies and statutory HSE regulations.
• Develop, implement, and test emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Deliver timely HSE training to employees as per company requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in health and safety or Process Safety within the Chemical or Process Industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Safety.
• PG Diploma in Industrial Safety from an accredited institution.
• Certified NEBOSH.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Ability to travel frequently across existing and future sites in West India.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
