About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, author, and optimize corporate HSE procedures including Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, and Emergency Response
- Create practical implementation guides, templates, and field tools for site-level teams
- Track and translate global and local HSE regulations into actionable corporate standards
- Partner with operations, legal, and executive stakeholders to integrate safety protocols into business processes
- Maintain the corporate HSE Management System, including document control and risk assessment methodologies
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to business units and field HSE teams
- Develop and track KPIs to measure program execution and compliance
- Collaborate with training teams to build standardized HSE training modules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of progressive HSE experience
- 2+ years in a corporate-level role focused on program management and technical writing
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or OSHA VPP
- Comprehensive command of US OSHA and EPA regulations
- Proven track record of managing complex program rollouts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene
- Professional credentials such as CSP, CIH, CPEA, or ISO Lead Auditor certification
- Experience with modern HSE software platforms (EHS-MIS)
