HSE Prevention Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage the QHSE system by communicating safety updates, corrective actions, and conducting safety briefings (causeries) with staff.
• Perform in-depth analysis of significant events, including accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
• Develop and implement risk analyses, prevention plans, and operational procedures.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety protocols, work permits, equipment standards, and PPE requirements.
• Monitor HSE performance indicators and record corrective actions resulting from audits or field observations.
• Exercise authority to stop work in the event of identified risks or non-compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bac +2 degree in QHSE, or a minimum of 3 years of significant experience in HSE.
• Strong industrial culture with a solid understanding of prevention and environmental safety.
• Proven appetite for field presence and working directly on-site.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with operational teams.
• Methodical, organized, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
