HSE Officer

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site regulations
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits
• Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and recommending preventive measures
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site workers and staff
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records
• Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE and safety equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of HSE experience within the construction industry
• Diploma or College Degree in a relevant field
• NEBOSH Certificate (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and enforce compliance
• Good communication and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• IMS and auditing experience
