HSE Officer

Responsibilities

• Implement Parsons HSE Policy, HSE Plan, and relevant HSE legislation and requirements.
• Monitor HSE performance and targets, suggesting measures for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with the Safety Manager and Contractors to improve and implement Corporate HSE Management ethics.
• Monitor contractors to ensure the implementation of applicable safety measures and best practices.
• Review Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment Plans, and work method statements at the site.
• Conduct HSE site visits and report findings to the Resident Engineer for immediate rectification.
• Review and monitor contractors' monthly HSE inspections, reports, and incident investigation reports.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and prepare minutes for follow-up actions.
• Review Emergency Preparedness, Permit to Work systems, Toolbox Talks, and HSE statistics.

Requirements

• Must be a UAE National.
• Diploma or Degree in any discipline, or a High school diploma.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• NEBOSH IGC Certification.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Accreditation.
• Recognized UAE Health and Safety certifications or training (e.g., OSHAD - Qudorat/ADOSH SF, First Aid, Fire Safety).
• Relevant experience working in an engineering consulting firm.
• Experience working in the UAE and possession of a valid driving license.
• Ability to attend physical interviews in Abu Dhabi.
