HSE Officer Nordic Region

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop a strong HSE, sustainability, and compliance culture across the Nordic region
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, internal policies, and global standards
• Implement and monitor HSE programs, processes, and ways of working across various sites
• Conduct risk assessments, manage incidents, and implement preventive actions to reduce risks
• Support the business in interactions with relevant authorities
• Lead and participate in internal and external HSE audits
• Deliver and follow up on HSE training and awareness programs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Geochemistry division

Requirements

• Degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a similar field
• Several years of professional experience working with HSE
• Solid understanding of local legislation and industry standards
• Fluency in both English and Swedish (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel within the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway)
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Finnish language is considered an advantage
