HSE Officer

Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Order the sealing off of areas when dangerous or unsafe conditions are identified.
• Develop and conduct regular safety and firefighting training programs and drills for field personnel.
• Advise personnel on safe working systems and the correct use of protective equipment.
• Lead firefighting and rescue operations and provide expert advice during fire outbreaks.
• Maintain detailed records and statistics regarding safety breaches and accidents.
• Inspect new equipment and processes prior to commissioning to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage stock levels for safety and loss prevention materials and supervise the installation of fire equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the GCC in a similar HSE role.
• Proven experience working on Roads and Infrastructure projects.
• Excellent technical report writing skills in English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 regulation standards.
