HSE Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE Manager and Senior HSE Officer in daily operations and project implementation of the Company’s IMS.
• Ensure all activities by company personnel and subcontractors comply with HSE policies and procedures.
• Deliver HSE induction courses and toolbox talks to advise personnel of potential hazards and necessary controls.
• Execute or assist in the investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Take prompt corrective action regarding potential hazards and inform management accordingly.
• Participate in scheduled meetings, emergency exercises, inspections, and audits.
• Respond to reports of non-compliance, unsafe conditions, or accidents and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and support to the Assistant HSE Officer.

Requirements

• NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum requirement.
• 5-8 years of relevant HSE experience specifically within the Oil & Gas field.
• Mandatory experience in either Onshore or Offshore environments.
• Strong knowledge of international HSE Standards.
• Fluency in written and oral English.
• Strong reporting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ADNOC approval is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working in GCC countries on oil and gas projects.
• Experience working with an EPC contractor or a heavy industrial construction company in the oil and gas sector.
