Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures on the construction site
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards
• Collaborate with EPC contractors to ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations
• Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
• Develop and implement emergency response plans
• Conduct HSE training sessions for project personnel and contractors
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes
• Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to project management
• Ensure project activities comply with relevant HSE legislation and standards
• Coordinate emergency response drills and liaise with local emergency services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in large-scale construction projects (CCGT) or EPC projects in the energy sector
• In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA
