HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE management systems
• Ensure full compliance with local Saudi regulations and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses for data center operations and construction
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
• Oversee contractor HSE performance, including onboarding, audits, and compliance verification
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns
• Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to drive continuous improvement
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning for fire, electrical, and critical facility scenarios
• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management and energy efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
• Minimum 10+ years of HSE experience
• At least 5 years of experience in mission-critical facilities such as data centers or utilities
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH IGC/Diploma or IOSH
• Proven experience in incident investigation and risk management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Tier III/IV data centers or hyperscale environments
• Familiarity with electrical safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and critical infrastructure risk controls
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting practices
• Experience working with multinational teams and high-profile clients
