HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Strengthen HSE culture across the German organization through performance management, risk analysis, and trend monitoring
• Ensure compliance with German HSE legislation and implement Knauf Industries’ HSE strategy
• Maintain and develop HSE documentation within the integrated management system
• Provide accurate and timely reporting for country and global leadership teams
• Design and coordinate HSE training and communication measures
• Support implementation of company standards regarding working at height, LOTOTO, vehicles, lifting operations, and machine safety
• Conduct regular plant visits across Germany and coordinate incident reviews and risk assessments
• Represent the company to authorities, insurers, auditors, and external partners

Requirements

• Several years of HSE experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with audits, inspections, equipment safety, and incident investigation using root-cause methods
• Experience operating under ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
• Proven ability to lead teams or coordinate people in a collaborative environment
• Strong analytical mindset and solution-driven approach
• Required German HSE certifications and strong knowledge of national legislation
• Proficiency in German and English (minimum C1 level)
• International HSE certifications (NEBOSH, NVQ, IOSH) are a strong advantage
