HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage HSE governance, including legislation compliance, ISO systems (14001/45001/50001), ATEX, fire safety, and environmental permits.
• Oversee risk and process safety, including explosion risk assessments, hazardous zone classification, chemical storage, and HAZOP.
• Lead incident management through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and accident reporting systems.
• Drive safety culture through HSE training, coaching, and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs.
• Monitor sustainability and environmental performance, including energy reduction, VOC/carbon footprint monitoring, and waste management.
• Lead and mentor two direct reports while providing guidance to site colleagues.

Requirements

• Academic background in HSE, Safety Engineering, or postgraduate studies in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS).
• 3–5 years of professional experience in HSE.
• Proficiency in both English and Polish.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Proven leadership, multitasking, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within the coating or chemical industry.
• Experience working in production or ATEX-regulated environments.
