About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage HSE policies, procedures, and programs tailored to project needs and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Promote HSE awareness and training programs for all employees and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to HSE standards
- Prepare and submit HSE reports and documentation to senior management and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in health, safety, and environmental performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE management within the construction or engineering sectors
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Proven experience in risk assessment, accident investigation, and safety training
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent professional certifications
