About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Digital Infrastructure Group safety team to develop risk action plans
- Cultivate HSE awareness and safety culture through training and communication
- Conduct worker risk assessments and provide actionable mitigation recommendations
- Develop and implement HSE processes, procedures, and work instructions
- Monitor compliance with regulations and report on HSE metrics
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Facilitate incident investigations and lead root cause analysis
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions and audit findings
- Coordinate HSE training for all personnel
- Maintain meticulous HSE documentation at worksites
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience (Data Center, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Civil preferred)
- Deep technical knowledge of Federal and State HSE regulations
- Proven experience implementing HSE policies in operational environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills for reporting and HSE management systems
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Ability to participate in drug and alcohol programs (safety-sensitive position)
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering
- Expertise in steel erection, electrical/mechanical safety (NFPA 70E), and earthwork
- Certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHST
- Experience in high-growth company environments
- Proven ability to drive safety cultural change
