HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Structure and drive the HSE policy within the subsidiary, translating group strategy into concrete field actions
• Monitor performance indicators (frequency rate, severity, corrective actions) and report to management
• Maintain and improve the DUER, hardship analysis, prevention plans, and security protocols
• Ensure regulatory compliance regarding transport and food hygiene, specifically HACCP requirements for the cold chain
• Manage and develop the dedicated HSE team by setting objectives and developing skills
• Conduct field presence including safety meetings with drivers and safety talks on-site or at client locations
• Train teams on safety, risk prevention, and eco-driving
• Perform alcohol and drug testing
• Analyze accidents and claims using root cause analysis and propose preventive actions
• Prepare and participate in CSSCT meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an HSE role, ideally in transport, logistics, industry, or agrifood
• Strong field presence and ability to persuade and engage teams
• Structured analytical mindset with experience in reporting and indicators
• Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HSE software
• Mastery of cold chain requirements including HACCP (ISO 22000) and food hygiene in refrigerated transport
