HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems in line with ADNOC requirements
• Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, providing guidance, support, and training
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement control measures
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure compliance throughout all project phases
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses using root cause analysis to implement corrective actions
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to stay updated on HSE regulations and best practices
• Prepare and submit required reports, statistics, and documentation to ADNOC and regulatory bodies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance and effectiveness
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability through training and engagement programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (subject to ADNOC approval)
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Proven expertise in Incident Investigation techniques
• 12-15 years of HSE experience in oil & gas, construction, or petrochemical industries
• At least 5 years in a lead HSE position managing a team of professionals
• Mandatory ADNOC ONSHORE approval
• Strong understanding of HSE Management Systems, legislative requirements, and SSOW (PTW, WMS, Risk Assessment)
• Proficiency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills
