HSE Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HSE Specialists to drive and sustain exemplary Health, Safety, and Environmental performance and culture within the Service Business Unit.
• Implement HSE policies and standards, ensuring compliance with local HSE laws and company instructions.
• Facilitate comprehensive HSE risk assessments and environmental aspect/impact evaluations led by line management.
• Report HSE incidents, lessons learned, and best practices across the organization.
• Drive behavioral changes through performance improvement programs to cultivate a preventative safety culture.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to raise HSE awareness and commitment.
• Manage the annual HSE budget, performance targets, and Corporate Responsibility (CR) projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, or a dedicated degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) license.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the HSE field.
• Deep technical knowledge of Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and local legislation.
• Expert knowledge of workplace risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
