HSE Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the person in charge for country HSE KPI indicators, including Quality Management Systems and legal compliance.
• Serve as the site/country Management Representative (MR) for HSE and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Manage site incidents by leading reporting, investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Act as the site champion for product stewardship, regulatory compliance, and new product introductions.
• Implement local HSE standards and statutory requirements while serving as the emergency response manager.
• Conduct monthly HSE audits and meetings, ensuring all actions are closed according to agreed timelines.
• Drive HSE training initiatives to achieve 100% completion rates.
• Support regional supply chain, engineering projects, and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.

Requirements

• Tertiary education with at least 3 years of industrial experience.
• Experience in the Paint & Coatings, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous material safe handling and controls.
• Fluency in written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.
• Familiarity with local government and authority policies, rules, and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial safety and process safety.
• Certified Safety and Health Officer certification.
