HSE Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform routine site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards
• Identify potential safety hazards and report non-compliance or unsafe practices
• Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
• Facilitate HSE awareness and training sessions as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to safety inspections and incidents
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors to promote a strong safety culture
• Support the HSE management team in implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of HSE inspection experience within the construction or engineering industry
• Strong understanding of local and international HSE standards and regulations
• Excellent observational and reporting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

• NEBOSH certification
• IOSH certification
