HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite HSE focal point during assigned shifts
• Conduct regular site walks, hazard identification, and risk assessments
• Act as the HSE point of contact and lead emergency responses
• Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Deliver HSE training, site inductions, and toolbox talks for contractors
• Monitor, measure, and report HSE performance metrics
• Review, validate, and sign off on PTC permits to work
• Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in an industrial, facilities, or manufacturing setting
• Safety Officer 2 level preferred (at least 40-hr BOSH/COSH training) from accredited DOLE STO
