About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements at the project site level.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ Management Systems, ADOSH-SF requirements, and international safety standards.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, supervision, and monitoring of construction activities.
  • Review contractor HSEQ plans, method statements, and risk assessments for alignment with company standards.
  • Participate in incident and near-miss investigations, supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Client representatives, PMC HSEQ Managers, and EPC contractors to ensure consistent execution.
  • Lead HSE meetings, toolbox talks, inductions, and awareness campaigns.
  • Manage emergency preparedness drills and ensure response equipment is maintained and compliant.
  • Maintain project HSEQ performance statistics and update action trackers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HSE, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of HSE experience, with 3–5 years specifically as an HSE Engineer or Officer on construction projects.
  • Proven experience working within a PMC or Supervision Consultant environment.
  • NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH IGC, or an equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
  • Completion of OSHAD/ADOSH Safety Practitioner Course.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and incident investigation methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Experience in high-risk construction environments such as utilities, transmission, or heavy civil projects.
