HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations at the project site
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits
• Identify unsafe site conditions, report hazards, and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommendations
• Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers and staff
• Ensure the proper use of PPE and other safety equipment at the site
• Assist in IMS implementation and auditing for continuous improvement
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records in compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience within the construction industry
• Engineering Diploma or College Degree in a relevant field
• Mandatory Engineer Certification
• NEBOSH Certification
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, and site safety protocols
• Proficiency in English (Urdu, Hindi, or Arabic is an advantage)
• Experience in conducting site audits, investigations, and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• IMS and auditing experience
• Additional HSE training certifications
