HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist senior construction site representatives in managing ESHARP and Parsons SH&E processes
• Audit and inspect job sites to detect, correct, and eliminate safety hazards to persons and property
• Conduct risk assessments for upcoming work and provide technical assistance for safety planning
• Initiate and conduct accident investigations and prepare detailed accident reports
• Supervise first aid personnel and oversee the new hire safety orientation and training processes
• Represent management during safety inspections conducted by regulatory authorities or insurance carriers
• Review and distribute safety inspection reports with recommended corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in safety, health, environmental, loss prevention, or a relevant Engineering discipline
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent recognized Health and Safety certification
• ADOSH SF-OSHMS Practitioner A or B qualification
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards
• Minimum 10+ years of construction supervision experience, including at least 8 years in a Senior Supervisory role
• Proven experience working within an engineering consulting firm

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the UAE
• Valid driving license
