HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to company HSE policies and procedures
• Lead HSE Team at site and interface with company
• Conduct regular risk assessments for electrical and instrumentation work activities
• Develop and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks
• Lead investigations into electrical and instrumentation-related incidents and accidents
• Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and deliver training programs
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills
• Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular HSE performance reports
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards
• Monitor site conditions in line with the HSE-Management system
• Supervise HSE staff implementation of manuals and policies
• Monitor ISO requirement compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Engineering Degree
• HSE Certification or Equivalent
• NEBOSH IGC
• 8 years of Middle East experience (UAE preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO requirements and monitoring
• Experience in Oil & Gas sector
