About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the PMC/Client and Contractors to ensure adherence to HSE plans and legal requirements
  • Develop and implement an effective HSE proactive monitoring program, including joint inspections, audits, and fire safety audits
  • Participate in HSE incident investigations and ensure reportable incidents are communicated to regulatory authorities (ADOSH-SF)
  • Review and approve project HSE documents, including HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Monitor and manage the HSE behavior and performance of the principal contractor to foster a positive safety culture
  • Chair regular site HSE meetings and ensure minutes are distributed to all concerned parties
  • Ensure all project-related HSE permits, NOCs, and documentation are up to date and compliant with federal and local laws
  • Generate and disseminate HSE alerts and monthly KPI reports to project management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in the HSE domain
  • HSE-related Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or HSE-related Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor qualification
  • NEBOSH IGC certification
  • OSHAD (ADOSH) Safety Practitioner certification
  • Proven experience in high-rise building construction
  • Previous experience working as a Supervision Consultant or PMC HSE
