HSE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and update environmental and safety procedures
• Coordinate the application of the STOP program and lead safety culture campaigns
• Ensure legal compliance regarding safety and environment (NOMs, COFEPRIS, Industria Limpia, etc.)
• Manage, train, and develop emergency response brigades and teams
• Conduct risk assessments and follow up on corrective actions
• Manage waste administration, including permits, records, and audits
• Oversee contractor management, including inductions and work permits
• Support ISO 14000 audits through internal audits and document management
• Monitor and report safety and sustainability KPIs

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering
• Experience in production environments and personnel management
• Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations (STPS, SEMARNAT, Protección Civil)
• Proficiency with ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 standards
• Knowledge of chemical products and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Intermediate English proficiency
